Mardi Gras happened in our neighborhood lately! We went over for food and socializing and to show some support - but didn't stay for the night of heavy drinking!
And here is the latest addition to our family - Olie! Yes, that is the Dutch word for Oil, and she is completely black. We looked at County Animal Services and kind of liked a gray kitty, but went to the Humane Society and feel in love with this one instead. Its been just a week, but Spelen is still only hissing at her. Just our luck, of couse - she is sneezing and has gooey eye. We did pick up antibiotics. But isn't she adorable!
